In this article, I'm going to walk you thru the steps I did to make my own DIY chest rub. I use this rub whenever we have a chest cough or having a hard time breathing with a stuffy nose at night. Once you try this chest rub on your back, chest and feet you'll never go back to a drug store purchased chest rub again.

Let's Gather The Items You'll Need For Your DIY Chest Congestion Rub

To make this home remedies for chest congestion, your going to need the following supplies. You'll also find once you purchase these products they will come in very handy for making other products like lotions, lips gloss, and other personal products around your home.

Follow these simple Steps for your DIY Chest Congestion Rub

Step #1:
In your glass bowl, you will add 3 Tablespoon of your Isagenix coconut application oil 
Step #2:
Add in 2 Tablespoons of your Shea butter.
if your shea butter is in chunks like mine, you may have to estimate about how much to use, Take a look at this photo to get a rough idea of the size of pieces of shea butter that work well for this chest rub. 
Step #3:
You'll add in 1 Tablespoon of your Beeswax.
Step #4:
You'll want to melt your Shea butter and Beeswax with a double boiler.
Or get a small pot of water and bring it to a boil and put your glass bowl with your products over time and let the steam melt your shea butter and beeswax. 
Step #5:
Once your Shea butter and Beeswax is melted you can add your Isagenix essential oils

10 Drops of Eucalyptus Oil
10 Drops of Peppermint Oil
5 Drops of Lemon Oil

Step #6 :
Very carefully as your bowl will be warm from the steam you want to pour your liquid into your glass jar and let it cool.
As it cools it will become a soft lotion chest rub.
